Editra A Developer's Text Editor

Information:

This page contains extra addons that can be downloaded and installed to enhance or change the behavior of the editor. Currently plugins, icon themes, and syntax highlighting color sheets are available. The downloads on this page are compatible with the latest version Editra and may or may not work with earlier versions.

Plugins:

When downloading plugins make sure that you chose the one that matches the version of Python installed on your system. If you are unsure of which version it is better to use the builtin plugin downloader in Editra and let it choose for you. Plugins downloaded from this site can be installed by dropping the downloaded file into Editra's Plugin Manager Install window. All plugins on this page are built to work with the current release version and using them with earier versions may have mixed results.

Name: FileBrowserVersion: 1.6 Description: Creates a dockable filebrowser sidepanel for quick opening of files and folders.There is builtin bookmarking of paths that are saved from session to session to make navigation quicker. Multiple files or even folders can be opened at once by selecting the desired files and hitting enter to open them all at once. Name: LaunchVersion: 0.6 Description: Launch is a utility for running and launching scripts from within Editra. It will run the script in the current buffer and display its output in the Shelf. Icon Themes:

All icon themes are also available through the plugin manager. The themes downloaded here can be installed by dragging and dropping the downloaded egg file on to the Install page of the Plugin Manager.

Syntax Style Sheets:

Editra Style Sheets to customize the syntax highlighting theme. Download the *.ess file of choice and copy it to the following path on your machine to install it.
