Internet Explorer

This site looks rather poor in Internet Explorer. It is an issue that i need to address in the future but for now I can only offer two choices for you.

1) Switch to a more compliant browser: see the http://editra.org/?page=staff for more information on the browsers this site has been tested and optimized for. (firefox, opera, camino, safari)

2) Just deal with the poor appearance and keep using IE. The site will still work for you, it will just look like junk.

I have addressed the following issues that IE has with the site (I hope):
    Table Head heights
    Image Alpha Channel Rendering
    Other minor styling issues

Remaining Issues (noticed thus far):
Community Portal Page has table layout issues because I am using CSS to do the complete layout on that page. May just switch back to tables to fix this issue.

JavaScript gets a little out of hand from time to time.

The site should look about as good as it can on ie now, since I have gotten rid of alot of javascript and went from the div/css layouts to using a more reliably rendered table based layout.

Just out of interest here are the webstats for browser usage from last month.

Firefox: 41.7 %
Safari: 24.1 %
MS Internet Explorer: 17 %
Opera: 5.3 %
Camino: 4.9 %
Mozilla: 2.9 %
Unknown: 1.1 %
NetNewsWire: 0.7 %
OmniWeb: 0.5 %
Netscape: 0.4 %

For this site anyways it seems like most have moved to more modern and compliant browsers.
