how to start Editra without reopening old tabs?

Postby nkedk » Thu Oct 09, 2014 10:40 pm

I accidentally dragged a Word docx file into Editra and it crashed. When I restart the application it remembers the old session, including the tab with the Word docx, and it crashes all over again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Editra but it still remembers the old tabs. How can I make Editra start fresh with no open tabs?

I am using Editra 0.7.20 on Mac OS X 10.9.5. Thank you!

It should have removed the offending file from the history list automatically for you but it must have been able to load it past the point where the data was accepted.

You will need to go clear your file cache in the the editra application directory.

Application files are in kept in the following directory:

~/Library/Application Support/Editra

Under the *sessions* folder delete all the session files (or the one that is causing problem if you know which one).
