[done] More SQL keywords

Postby chunkyq » Fri Dec 19, 2008 10:20 pm

I just started using Editra, and I've noticed that there are several important SQL words that aren't keywords. I've searched the forums, and it seems that adding new keywords requires editing the source code. I don't think I (currently) have time to do that, but I've found some nice lists of keywords:

SQL-92, SQL-99, SQL-2003: http://developer.mimer.com/validator/sq ... -words.tml

For PostgreSQL, there is a list of types here: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.3/inte ... atype.html , and a comparative list of reserved words here: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.3/inte ... endix.html

The words that I have noticed to be missing is a much smaller list.

PRIMARY KEY
CONSTRAINT
FOREIGN KEY
REFERENCES
RESTRICT
NO ACTION
WITHOUT
SCHEMA
DEFERRABLE
NOT DEFERRABLE
RULE
DO
SERIAL (data type)

If there is a format I can put these into that would make the job easier, please let me know.

I added the ones from your small list of missing ones not sure why those were missing I accepted a patch to that file some time back they may have gotten removed at that point.

It does require editing the source but the source file is just a a text file with a list of words in it so its pretty much the same as adding the words here ;)

If there are any more missing let me know and they can be added.

Thanks,

Cody

Thank you very much. I took a look at the syntax files, and if there are any more words to add, I'll add them myself.

If there are more that are missing be sure to let me know though as I would like them to be as accurate as possible.

Thanks,
