[done] autoreload

Cody,

Editra is able to detect that a file have been changed by an another process. When it do so it can warn the user that the file have been changed and propose him to reload the new version of the file.

But when a file have been changed there is two different situations:
  • The file loaded in Editra was "up to date" (no * in front of the name, the user saved the last modification he made in Editra)
  • The file loaded in Editra wasn't up to date (a * in front of the name, the user did some modifications in Editra that he didn't saved)

In the first case it is save to reload the disk version of the file. In the second case it could make you loose some work.

On some editor (Notepad++, UltraEdit, PsPad, ...) one can configure the editor to automatically reload the file in the case 1 and only ask the question in the case 2.

If you open a script in two editors or if you monitor logs this is a very useful feature.

Tell me if you think it could be a nice addition to Editra.

Kindest Regards,
Vivian.

Hello,

Yea, that makes sense.

I have no argument against adding an option to enable this behavior. The current behavior should be the default though.

Done,

Add option to General File preferences to automatically reload files when changes are detected on disk.
