shortcut/hotkey to show/hide (project) sidebar

Postby wuffe » Mon Sep 22, 2008 3:09 am

Hi,

there seem to be missing a way to show/hide the (project) sidebar from the keyboard - unless I've missed something.

It would be nice if a shortcut could be assigned that would show/hide the sidebar.

Hello,

Currently no there is no keyboard shortcut. I will look at making it possible for that menu item to be editable so it will show up in the keybinding editor then you can add your own keybinding for it.

I'm not even sure how to show the project sidebar at all. There seems to be no "open project" option. Ahh well. On to a different editor, though this one does look nice.

hahaha,

Well first Editra is not an IDE its a Text Editor so it does not natively have the concept of a project. So thats why there is no "Open Project" option.

There is however a Project plugin that provides some file management and integrated source control.

1) Tools=>Plugin Manager
2) Click on Download Tab
3) Select Projects Plugin
4) Click Download
5) Click Install
6) Restart Editra
7) View=>Projects (opens the project sidepanel.
