CodeBrowser view for LaTeX documents

Postby fberger » Fri Feb 01, 2013 11:49 am

Hi,

as LaTeX documents have a hierarchical sectioning structure, and navigating large documents can be a pain, I'd love to have a CodeBrowser view for LaTeX documents. Just like there is one for HTML documents, but preferably with sections nested.

I'd love to help out developing, so if you give me a hint where I have to start I gladly try my luck coding.

This is probably related to the LaTex Syntax Highlighting feature request.

Thanks for considering,

Hi,

There are a collection of parsers for generating an abstract Document Structure object within the codebrowser plugin. There are plenty of examples in the following source directory in which to model a solution for LaTeX with.

@see: Editra\plugins\codebrowser\codebrowser\gentag

Also see the following for more resources:
http://editra.org/documentation
http://editra.org/docs/editra_api/namespacecodebrowser.html

Let me know if you have any questions.
